Meet Your Executive Function Coach

Hi, I’m Catriona. I help neurodiverse teens and young adults develop their executive function skills, so they overcome their biggest school struggles, manage transitions confidently, and feel empowered.

With over 36 years of experience as an educator and as a stepmother to a neurodivergent young adult, I’ve worked with many teens or young adults who, like yours, have immense potential but struggle with tasks like organization, completing work, and staying focused—skills that are key to success in school and life.

I know how tough it can be when a lack of executive function skills leaves students feeling anxious or unmotivated. These challenges often spill over into home life, making it harder for parents to support them.

Through personalized, compassionate coaching, I help teens build the executive function skills they need to thrive. Imagine having a partner who understands and has proven strategies to help your young adult gain confidence, overcome obstacles, and navigate school with more ease.

Together, let's unlock your teen’s potential and make school more manageable–for both of you.

FAQ

Your questions, answered

Thank you for showing me what it’s like to have courage for public speaking and teaching me that you have confidence within yourself. Also, thanks for showing me that you will have failures in your life, but with these failures come improvements. When you work on the things you can improve on, success will come your way. Ms. M. you showed me what it’s like to be calm, to show respect, have patience, compassion, tranquility, courage, and be hardworking.

Registration

When you purchase one of the coaching packages, you’ll be invited to sign up for a Strategy Session. If you purchase one of the 4-week or 12-week packages, you'll also receive an email to set up an account in my online coaching portal and be asked to sign a coaching agreement and pay for services.

02

Orientation

Before we jump into coaching, you and your teen will participate in an Orientation Session so I can show you how we’ll use the portal to communicate as well as discuss goals, review expectations, and answer questions. This sets everyone up for success.

03

Weekly Sessions

Once a week, your teen and I will work together, online or in person, on a personalized program to develop their executive function skills. Regular check-ins between sessions provide accountability and keep your teen motivated and engaged in the process.

04

Family Team Meetings (FTM)

At the beginning of every fourth coaching session, you, your teen, and I will meet for a FTM. This allows everyone to reflect on what’s working and what needs tweaking. Your participation, input, and support will make all the difference to your teen’s progress.
